This exhibition presents around fifty large-format photographs of the carved reliefs on the famous Buddhist temple of Borobudur, in Central Java. Taken by Hughes Dubois, at night by moonlight, these shots give the bas-reliefs an astonishing volume and presence. Stone and bronze sculptures, paintings and watercolours accompany the photographs.
