Octopode Festival

The Octopode Festival (24-25 August 2018) is a free musical open air, combining different musical styles and promoting local anchoring. The Friday night will be oriented on rock and metal, while reggae, ska and afrobeat will take up the torch for the Saturday. The festival is very pleased to welcome the legendary finnish band Ensiferum, but also Samael and AqME, that will rock the main stage on Friday night. On the Saturday, Alborosie & Shengen Clan and The Skatalites, some of the most renowned reggae artists nowadays, shall give the night a groovy feeling. Max Livio completes the main stage line-up. Local artists will also be featured on both nights, with bands such as Bak XIII, Killing Volts, The Mudcats, Kalakuti Orkestra and Roy Ellis & Cosmic Shuffling. A nomad sound-system shall also guide the public through both nights of the «octopodian» experience. The festival’s journey will also feature grafiti artists, artisanal booths, local food and drinks. The festival is free and opened to everybody. The organizers strongly encourage «soft mobility»!
