Review of Bohemia from 13 July 2010

Very disappointed, again! I tried Bohemia when I first arrived in Zurich because they were the only place offering brunch in my neighborhood. Although in the end the food reminded me of what I was looking for, the experience overall was pretty bad. The service was snooty and rude: there immediately to get a drink order barely as soon as one is seated, and then practically AWOL for the rest of the time. They make you feel like you're doing them a favor by eating in their restaurant-- so unwelcoming! To top it off, the place is pretty pricey for what you get To be fair, I tried it again later, hoping I just had a fluke bad experience the first time. Nope, left again feeling cold with an empty wallet. I must be a glutton for punishment because I ended up there again this weekend with a group, but only because every restaurant in the Seefeld area was closed at lunchtime! Bohemia was packed-- I can only hope because it's the only place around even open. Avoid this place if you have any other options!
